Gary Blake and Wendy Johnson are photographers and writers, often combining their interests of travel with marine subjects  covering countries as far afield as Australia and the Caribbean.

Gary Blake, who was originally from New Zealand, trained in graphic design at London’s Royal College of Art (awarded

MA Hons). Prior to that, St Martins School of Art, London (awarded BA Hons), then practiced as an art director in London’s advertising agencies and his design group he co-owned  for 20 years with brief spells in New York and later Sydney, before settling in Reading  Berkshire, in the Thames Valley  as a base and opening a photographic studio .

Combining 7 years training  at art schools with his allied courses in photography plus a further year ‘s course at Thames Valley University in Studio Lighting (awarded BTec Level 3 with Merit  and with his location lighting experience, he produces high quality photography for editorial commissions and commercial projects.

Wendy Johnson, is a self taught landscape photographer, with an astute commercial background and editoral word skills.

Both travel together , jointly write all or part of the stories together and compliment  each others photography skills.
